Wine

It’s always a treat to get a cigar bar invite…

Last week, Mark asked famous Miami wine sommelier Gordon Sullivan to host a wine tasting “primer” for a small gathering of PBRG employees.

Gordon helped the group learn to appreciate a wine’s appearance, aroma, body, taste, and finish. (You’ll be able to hear Gordon’s tips yourself in one of Mark’s upcoming podcasts.)

The night was fun and educational. But, more than anything, it made me remember…

I have one of the best jobs on the planet.

I get paid to think, read, and write. And sometimes, to learn about wine. If I have a question about almost any conceivable topic—from real estate investing to winning poker techniques—I have a short list of masters in each field to turn to for advice.

I get to do all of this as part of a community of extraordinary individuals… People whose accomplishments and successes are only surpassed by their humility and generosity.

We all come from a wide variety of backgrounds. Most of us are contrarian and independent by nature. But we all share a passion for identifying incredible ideas—in finance and investing, in health and productivity, in living well—and conveying these ideas to others through powerful, actionable advice.

I mention this because we’re growing as an organization. We want—and need—talented colleagues to join our team. And I know someone out there reading this knows—or is—the person we’re looking for.

Now, if you’re not willing to work hard, please do not reply. If you’re not a “self-starter” or don’t have an unstoppable internal drive to excel, this isn’t the place for you. We don’t care about your diplomas or your degrees… We care about your character. We care about your will to succeed.

If you think this life is for you—or someone you know—send us the most powerful investment opportunity you see right now. Include a resume for further reference.

You can submit it all right here.
