Editor’s Note: Last week, Tom copied me on an email he sent to a potential business partner. It summarized who we are and what we believe as an organization. Regular Daily readers already know this… but I think new and old readers alike will appreciate seeing it. I hope Tom’s letter makes you feel as proud as I do to be a part of the Palm Beach community…

Tom Dyson

From Tom Dyson, founder, the Palm Beach Research Group: I spent a large portion of my professional career working for two of the world’s largest investment banks, including Citigroup in London. I’ve also managed money and analyzed equities for over 20 years.

I know how the world of finance works. Through my writing, I’ve helped over 175,000 folks from all over the world learn about misunderstood investments.

Mark Ford is an expert in entrepreneurship, health, and safely building wealth. He’s written more than 10 books, including New York Times and Wall Street Journal best-sellers. (He wrote under the pen name Michael Masterson.)

Five years ago, we partnered together to create the Palm Beach Research Group.

Today, we have almost 50 employees.

We research investments—mainly in the stock market, but also in bonds, options, real estate, private equity, and alternative assets, like gold. We also discuss general “living rich” advice, including personal finance, health, travel, and productivity.

Our core goal is simple: to show our readers how to become wealthier—every single day… by choosing conservative, long-term investment strategies… by avoiding certain “wealth stealers”… and by thinking about wealth in broader terms than just money.

What sets us apart from our rivals in financial media is this: We are 100% independent. We don’t take money from any third parties to promote their services—no banks, no brokers, no dealers, no companies, etc.

We don’t buy or sell investments. We simply publish information we believe will enrich the lives of our subscribers.

You can think of our research as the Consumer Reports of the financial world.

We sell subscriptions for our research. Our flagship product—The Palm Beach Letter—costs $49 per year. Readers get 12 monthly issues and 12 midmonth updates.

We have around 10 products in total, ranging from $0 to $5,000 per year.

We focus our research on conservative investing strategies. We emphasize safety and income. We’re not speculators. And we’re committed to providing the highest-value newsletter service in the world.
