  • At SaveAround you can choose your location and find coupon books that cater to your area. For $20, the books offer about 80 pages of coupons for everything from Mexican restaurants and pizza places to haircuts and birthday cakes. Best of all, you can flip virtually through the books before deciding to buy. If you sign up with the site, you can make use of its “online savings” tab, which offers a variety of coupons and coupon codes.

  • If you’re regularly spending on pizza, use the promo code 9ANY to get any Pizza Hut pizza for $9. You can also save 25% on every Papa John’s order when you use the code 25OFF online.

  • Liking your favorite restaurants on Facebook is another great way to get freebies and keep up with the latest deals and specials. Restaurants often send out discount codes that are not publicly available outside their network.

  • Hate buying your picky kids $10 meals? Go to kidsmealdeals.com or mykidseatfree.com to find restaurants where kids eat free. Also check out this list of more than 50 places where kids eat free or cheap. The list includes favorites like Moe’s, IHOP, and Pizza Hut.

  • If you are over 50, you don’t necessarily have to be a member of AARP to enjoy a wide variety of discounts. There is quite a long list of restaurants that offer discounts to seniors (though minimum age and participating locations will vary).

Check out 2015’s Best Senior Discounts for Dining Out. And when in doubt, don’t hesitate to ask when you sit down if the restaurant offers senior discounts or special menus. An average of 10% off is nothing to sniff at.
